My holy grail makeup products

Hello Loves, I’m here to talk to you about my holy grail products that have been with me through everything, even the worst of days. I take these with me whenever I travel, I use them in my everyday makeup routine and I honestly cannot live without them. I would also like to mention beforehand that I am not being sponsored by any brands to write this post, these are my true opinions.

With that, let’s get right into it!

Nars Pro-Prime™

This is hands down my favourite face primer. The gel-like consistency is a nice formula compared to other primer products that are in a sense more tacky and harder to apply evenly to the face; it’s almost as if it was a cream. It does a great job at making my foundation last all day long, and this is crucial since I have rather oily skin.   Another amazing bonus is that you really get your money’s worth; the full size bottle lasts forever.

ILLEGAL LENGTH™ fiber extensions mascara

This mascara, although a drugstore brand, does an amazing job at extending the look of your eyelashes. The formula of the mascara is perfect, as it is not too “watery” nor is it clumpy. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced mascara I not only recommend this particular mascara, but any other Maybelinne mascara!

Urban Decay Naked 3 eyeshadow brush

This particular brush is from the Naked 3 palette and is not sold individually, but the link above sends you to their website where they sell basically the same brush from a different palette. I love this brush because it really picks up the pigments from the eyeshadows, of any type, regardless of the brand. It truly is a great quality brush that is worth it to invest in.

This hybrid of a serum corrector and concealer by Bobbi Brown is honestly one of the better concealers that I’ve come across. It isn’t tacky, nor does it have a overly creamy consistency. Because it is a serum corrector it blends in seamlessly with your foundation and hydrates and benefits your skin at the same time. Although it does run the more pricey side for a concealer, its dual benefit does make it more worth it to buy.

Milani baked blush in Luminoso

This blush, while it has gotten a lot of hype, honestly deserves it all one hundred percent. It has an amazing consistency and is nicely pigmented. This particular shade gives off a luminous finish, hence the name, and it super affordable! Even if you don’t plan on using this blush everyday, it definitely falls under the “theres no such thing as too many blushes” category.

F6 flat concealer brush

This brush has done a great job at blending my concealer in everyday. It’s name is pretty self-explanatory, although I will say that it is a good quality brush that I would recommend if you’re in the market for a flat top concealer brush.

Anastasia B. H. brow powder duo

anything that is an Anastasia B. H. brow product is most probably bound to a) do its job and b) blow you away. I have been using this to fill my eyebrows in for years and I’ve never used other products in between. A little goes a long way when it comes to using this product, so you’re really getting your money’s worth.

Kat Von D tattoo liner in Trooper

This is honestly a great eyeliner. the tip of this eyeliner isn’t a felt tip so it isn’t going to dry out unless you’re running out of product. While the Maybelinne eyestudio Master Precise Skinny gel eyeliner and the Stila stay all day liquid eyeliner are waterproof and perhaps stay on all day, their felt tips dry out very quickly. Its unfortunately a waste of both the product and your money, which isn’t worth it.

Mac lipstick in Brave

On a first note, Mac lipsticks are amazing. their textures are creamy and pigmented and so worth the price tag. This particular shade is a satin finish, which I originally thought I wasn’t going to like, but love! This colour is a nude pink that shows up a little darker on the lips. Its a great basic colour for fall or all year round, as it adds a little more oomph and is a great finishing touch.

I hope that this post was helpful to some who may be looking to invest in some new makeup products or are just starting to venture out and try new products. Believe me, once you get comfortable with a solid makeup routine its hard to break out of it, in fear of coming across the products that just don’t work out for you.

If you have any holy grail makeup products that you think are worth mentioning, don’t hesitate to leave a comment!
